Welcome to Joint Sewing, an international direct-to-consumer online store operated by SOUHIRO US LLC, a company registered in Oregon, United States.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to https://jointsewing.com and purchases made through our website.

Our store serves individual consumers in the United States and other eligible international destinations.

These Terms apply subject to mandatory consumer protection laws.

2. Eligibility and Acceptable Use

Customers must have the legal capacity to enter into purchase agreements.

Customers agree to provide accurate order information and use our website lawfully.

Fraud, unauthorized access, interference with website security, and infringement of intellectual property rights are prohibited.

Joint Sewing sells sewing supplies, bag-making hardware, craft materials, accessories, and related products.

We endeavor to accurately describe product materials, dimensions, quantities, colors, specifications, intended uses, and countries of origin.

Product images may display minor differences due to lighting, screen settings, or manufacturing tolerances.

Nothing in these Terms limits statutory rights relating to defective, unsafe, or incorrectly described goods.

4. Prices, Currency, and Additional Charges

Product prices are displayed in the currency applicable to the selected market.

Prices may vary by destination, exchange rates, applicable taxes, and market-specific pricing.

Product charges, shipping charges, and taxes collected by Joint Sewing will be disclosed before checkout is completed.

Free shipping promotions apply only when their published conditions are satisfied.

Import duties and taxes are handled according to the Shipping Policy and the shipping terms confirmed for the order.

5. Orders and Payments

Accepted payment methods include credit cards and PayPal, subject to availability at checkout.

Payment is generally collected when an order is placed.

An order confirmation acknowledges receipt of the order.

We may cancel an order where fulfillment is impossible due to unavailability, payment failure, suspected fraud, legal restrictions, or shipping limitations.

If we cancel an order after collecting payment, we will promptly initiate the applicable refund in accordance with law.

6. Product Availability

All products are subject to availability.

We may update product information, discontinue products, or limit quantities.

If a purchased product becomes unavailable, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate resolution, including a refund where applicable.

7. Order Processing and Delivery

Orders are primarily fulfilled and dispatched from Japan.

Order Processing: Generally 3–6 business days after payment confirmation.

Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding Japanese public holidays.

International shipments are primarily handled by DHL or FedEx.

United States Delivery Estimate: Generally 3–5 business days after dispatch.

Delivery estimates for other destinations vary.

Processing time and shipping transit time are separate.

Delivery estimates are not guarantees and do not restrict mandatory rights concerning late or undelivered goods.

8. Customs Duties, Import Taxes, and DDP

Joint Sewing offers Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) shipping for selected eligible orders and destinations.

For an order expressly confirmed as DDP, Joint Sewing is responsible for the covered import duties, import taxes, and standard customs brokerage charges under the confirmed arrangement.

Customers will not be required to pay additional covered import duties or import taxes upon delivery.

DDP availability depends on the destination, carrier, product category, and customs requirements.

Where DDP is unavailable, any customer responsibility for import charges must be clearly disclosed before the order is accepted.

If a suitable shipping arrangement cannot be provided, we may cancel the order and refund any payment collected.

9. Order Cancellations

Customers may request cancellation before dispatch by contacting hello@jointsewing.com.

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate cancellation requests before shipment.

Once an order has been dispatched, eligible returns and statutory cancellation rights apply under our Return & Refund Policy.

10. Returns and Refunds

Standard 30-Day Returns

Eligible voluntary returns may be requested within 30 days after delivery.

Products must generally be unused, unaltered, and in their original condition.

For voluntary change-of-mind returns, customers generally pay return shipping costs to Japan unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Defective or Damaged Products

Once a defect or damage is confirmed:

• No return of the affected product is required.

• The applicable full refund will be initiated on the same business day.

• If confirmation occurs outside business hours, the refund will be initiated on the next business day.

Incorrectly Shipped Products

Once our shipping error is confirmed:

• The applicable full refund will be initiated on the same business day, or the next business day if confirmation occurs outside business hours.

• If we request the incorrect item to be returned, Joint Sewing will cover reasonable return shipping costs.

Standard Refund Processing

For approved voluntary returns, refunds are generally initiated within 3–7 business days after returned goods are received and inspected.

Actual payment posting times depend on the payment provider.

EU and UK Consumer Rights

EU and UK consumers generally have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right for eligible distance purchases.

Our voluntary 30-day return policy does not reduce statutory rights.

11. Consumer Purchases

These Terms are intended for individual consumers purchasing products through our retail website.

Prices, shipping conditions, and consumer return procedures described here apply to eligible retail purchases.

12. Customer Accounts

Customers are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

Customers should notify us promptly of suspected unauthorized account activity.

Personal information is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

13. Intellectual Property

Website content, photographs, product descriptions, logos, graphics, and other protected materials belong to their respective owners.

This choice of law does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections available under applicable laws in their country of habitual residence.

Nothing in these Terms prevents consumers from bringing claims before courts or authorities having jurisdiction under applicable law.

19. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on our website.

Changes will not retroactively remove contractual or statutory rights where prohibited by law.

20. Severability

If a provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
